The Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT) is a trade body for the commercial broadcasting sector in Europe. Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

Three new series of ITV show ‘The Cruise’ to be filmed this year

RTL Group: Simple, safe and transparent – big ‘Login Alliance’ in Germany

Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland, ProSiebenSat.1 Media SE and United Internet AG with Web.de and GMX are teaming up to form a ‘Login Alliance’ to strengthen Germany’s digital economy. The contract signed by the partners provides for the establishment of a foundation that will monitor both compliance with the standard and its further development. As an independent body, the foundation will support the implementation of the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the planned ePrivacy Regulation.

Chernobyl: Sky and HBO’s first commission from new global drama partnership
