The Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT) is a trade body for the commercial broadcasting sector in Europe. Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

MTG wins rights to 2020 European Handball Championship

MTG has acquired the exclusive Nordic media rights to the 2020 European Handball Championship. Matches will be broadcast on MTG’s video streaming service Viaplay and Viasat pay-TV channels in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland.

RTL Group: Power to the viewers

Tiny Riot! Netherlands, part of FremantleMedia, and Zoomin.TV, a global media company part of the digital entertainment group MTG, have launched the new international online music format Continuum. Continuum, launched on 1 December 2016, brings together four YouTube stars from four different countries that have never met each other. The objective is to create incredible pop music and tap into respective fan bases.
