Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

ITV releases full year results

ITV delivered strong operational performance with total external revenue up by 2%. Carolyn McCall, ITV Chief Executive, said: “There is no doubt that ITV’s operational performance in 2017 in a challenging environment was strong. ITV delivered a great viewing performance on-screen and online and double-digit revenue growth in video on demand advertising and ITV Studios.”

Mediaset España starts the year leading the online video consumption

In January 2018 Mediaset España led the online video consumption with 39.2 million views. This is a 5.9% increase compared to December 2017. Mediaset España’s flagship channel Telecinco ranks first with 7 million visits to its website and 11.4 million videos viewed online.

German TV business drives RTL Group’s record results in 2017

2017 was another successful financial year for RTL Group: Group revenue increased 2.2 % reaching a record level. Bert Habets, Chief Executive Officer of RTL Group, commented: “This set of strong results shows that we are in an excellent position to write the next chapter in RTL Group’s success story.
