Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

Mediaset acquires rights to exclusively broadcast the Formula E Championship until 2023

Mediaset reached an agreement with Formula E Holdings to broadcast the electric car international championship until 2023. This decision followed the audience success of the Formula E Prix held in Rome this April, which reached 1.2 million viewers totalling up to 9,6% in audience share. The event will be exclusively broadcast by Mediaset for the next five seasons on its FTA and HD channels.

In an interview with Worldscreen.com Claude Schmit, Managing Director of Super RTL, spoke about the channel’s performance, digital products and the difference between Netflix and Co.
