Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

ITV: I'm A Celebrity scores highest launch audience ever, consolidated data reveals

The launch episode of the ITV 2018 series of I'm A Celebrity...Get Me Out Of Here! is now fully consolidated to a massive 13.7 million viewers and a huge 52% share of viewing. With an additional 479,000 viewers on ITV Hub the total audience rises to 14.2 million viewers for the launch episode.

RTL Group: And the Winner is…

The 46th International Emmy Awards were held in New York City on 19 November 2018 to honour the best television programmes produced and broadcast outside the United States. RTL Group celebrated two victories with both RTL Television and Atresmedia picking up an award this year: Anna Schudt accepted the Emmy for Best Performance by an Actress for her lead role in Ein Schnupfen hätte auch gereicht (A Cold Would Have Been Enough) and La casa de papel (Money Heist),  Atresmedia series, became the first Spanish series to win an International Emmy.

TF1 Group and beIN SPORTS reach agreement on broadcasting the IHF world handball championship

TF1 Group has acquired from beIN SPORTS the broadcasting right to several matches from the IHF (International Handball Federation) men's and women's World Handball Championship during the 2019 and 2025 period (4 men's tournaments and 4 women's tournaments).
