The Association of Commercial Television in Europe (ACT) is a trade body for the commercial broadcasting sector in Europe. Formed in 1989, the ACT has 27 member companies active in 37 European countries, operating and distributing several thousand free-to-air and pay-tv channels and new media services.

Medialaan: More than 1.3 million viewers celebrate 30 years of VTM channel

 

On 1 February 2019 VTM celebrated its 30th birthday with a show full of surprises: a non-stop sequence of surprising VTM moments, with programmes and faces from the past and present.  Social congratulations rained on social media and Flanders also celebrated massively on the small screen. The evening brought together 1.3 million viewers.
