RTL Group and Enovos go solar in Beidweiler and Junglinster

RTL Group, in partnership with the Luxembourgish energy provider Enovos, has begun construction of two large photovoltaic power parks on its transmission sites in Beidweiler and Junglinster – the first ground-mounted solar park of this size in Luxembourg. The solar installation, which is scheduled to be completed by January 2020, is expected to produce around 7,000 megawatt hours (MWh) per year. Enough eco-friendly electricity to power around 1,800 households for a whole year.
